I enjoy making life-like baby dolls from Berenguer, Middleton, Linde Scherer, Elly Knoops, and Ashton-Drake dolls. I use only the finest materials available. Most of my babies have hand micro-rooted high-quality mohair and masterpiece soft glass eyes. I use the highest quality jointed cloth bodies on all my babies. I am the mother of three grown sons. Baby Alyse was created using a blank, unpainted, unrooted head and limb kit by the talented artis Petra Lechner. She is a very limited edition of 250 worldwide, she is # 73 and will come with her certificate of authenticity. Alyse is about 21" long with bent knees and weighs 6 lbs. She has a jointed, doe-suede body that has been weighted with very very tiny glass beads and poly-fill. Her 3/4 vinyl limbs and head have been weighted with the same materials. I hand micro-rooted medium brown wavy angora mohair hair and eyelashes. Both have been sealed from the inside of her head with a water-proof adhesive. Her hair can be gently wetted and styled, it will curl up somewhat when dampened or you can dampen it and comb it to make it straighter. Alyse has a magnetic pacifier, please use caution around pacemakers. She will comb wearing her Willbeth white and lavender embroidered day gown and hat. It has a violet underslip and the dress itself is white with lavender embroidery. Lenght: 21'' Baby Sarah is a reborn baby that was reborn from the Linde Scherer blank soft vinyl doll kit Johanna. Her vinyl was hand painted with oils using three different shades to give her a natural baby glow. She has blue undertones to her skin in the places were newborns usually have thinner skin. Her complexion is slightly blotchy, not overdone. Her nose was shaded to give it depth without cutting her vinyl. Her lips were prepared with a speciall solution, then hand painted in a natural shade of pale pink glass paints. I then double-sealed them with a matt protectorant finish to protect them and give them a soft, natural look. I to give gave Sarah a magnetic pacifier, please use caution around pacemakers and creditcards. Baby Sarah has barely-there light brown eyebrows and I gave her baby wispy eyelashes. Her hair has been micro-rooted which takes a very, very long time but is well worth the results. I used light brown mohair that has been sealed from the inside of her head with a water-proof adhesive. Baby Sarah has a doe-suede, jointed body. It has been weighted with bagged poly-pellets and polyfill for a very cuddly feel. Her head has been weighted with bagged poly-pellets and needs to be supported just like a real infants. All of her limbs were weighted with glass beads and polyfill. Her nails were done in a four-step process. They look very natural and won't peel.
